I initially had irritation on my bikini line, I thought it was from my underwear. A blister or boil appeared and popped in the shower and then the other bumps appeared. It has been about a week or more before I noticed the other bumps.

I can see a cluster of erosions. I would especially like to rule out genital herpes. HSV 1&2 DNA PCR from one of the erosions would be confirmatory. You may also take a blood test (HerpeSelect) 4-6 weeks later for HSV type 1 and 2, IgG and IgM.

Can you break it down further, so I don't have genital herpes but I might have an oral transmission but it should be confirmed?

Of course genital herpes is only a possibility right now and it has to be confirmed.
Genital infection with herpes virus can be caused by either type 1 hsv or type 2 hsv. More commonly it is caused by hsv type 2.
Hsv type 2 infection is commonly acquired through peno vaginal sexual contact or anal sex while genital hsv type 1 infection is commonly acquired through oral sex with someone who has a history of cold sores. Both type 1 and type 2 genital hsv can have similar clinical presentation though hsv type 2 causes more severe and more frequent episodes.
Have you ever had similar sores previously? Do you have or have had a sexual partner who could be having herpes?
