Suggest Treatment For Pin Sized Discoloration On Mons Pubis
Question: What would cause a pin sized discoloration on mons pubis?
Brief Answer:
Photo is necessary to give precise answer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Can you please attach a photo of this discoloration?
It is really hard to tell what it is not being able to see it. Such discoloration can be an ingrown hair, small angioma, small mole or any other benign skin lesion. Most likely it is nothing serious.
The only serious issue is mole which changes size, shape, color, starts itching. In this case such mole should be removed and tested by a pathologist.
This is the best answer I can give not being able to see it.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

So long as it's not itching or changing size/color I'm most likely fine to wait it out until my yearly appt in 6 weeks? I've noticed it there for a while and it looks to me like a scar. I can't get a good enough photo to attach for you to see. I also just delivered twin girls so I'm not sure if my pregnancy may have caused a skin change? It doesn't hurt, but I don't recall seeing it before and I was unable to really see anything prior to my delivery. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
Yes you can wait for scheduled appointment in 6 weeks.
Detailed Answer:
Yes it is fine to wait until your appointment in 6 weeks. This does not sound like something serious or something that may need any action.
Yes, pregnancy can cause skin changes. It is very common that during and after pregnancy, due to serious hormonal changes, new moles appear on the skin. Stretch marks can also show up, however abdomen is where this is most common. And stretch mark can look like a tiny scar.
Hope this will help.
