Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for your question.

I do understand your pain and discomfort.

As per your question, let me inform you that, benign paroxysmal positional vertigo is one of the most common causes of vertigo and it is usually triggered by specific changes in the position of your head. This might occur when you tilt your head up or down, when you lie down, or when you turn over or sit up in bed.

The most common symptoms of this disorder is dizziness, nausea and sometimes even vomiting.

As foe your second question, I may say that it may or may not go away on its own after few weeks and it depends from person to person.

But to treat it promptly, I'd request you to consult with your local doctor to teach you a procedure known as (canalith repositioning procedure/Epley maneuver).

So not to be worried, just follow these instructions and you'll be fine.

I hope I was able to address your query. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to write back.

Wishing you all the best.

Thanks
