
Suggest Treatment For Post Operative Infection Of The Wound Site

Question: My 34 yr. old female has been off work & had to wait 2 yrs. for surgery & haD IT sEPT. 16TH hAD THE
ile0pitomy had to have 3 surgeries following she left the hospital after 5 weeks. She had to go back in 3 days
as two of the stitches let go & the poison went through her system & they almost lost her. She has been in & out of hospital ever since 3 trips a wk. to ER & twice has been admitted. Nurses come daily she has infection oozing out of a spot on her butt that takes a 6x6 gauze to over it. Now the poison is coming out of her rectum as well. She is in hospital again different hospital & different dr. They are talking of surgery.
but aren't sure. She lives in Calgary. Have you had a case like this? What were the results. She has lost
20lb. & was very thin before she went in. Thanks for your time. Grandma
