Suggest Treatment For Postural Hypotension
Question: I have had blood pressure that is slightly lower than average, and dizziness after standing up every once in a while since Marine Corps boot camp 2 years ago. I am a 20 year old, white female, 5'4", approximately 140lbs. In the case of future health problems or pregnancy, would it benefit me to address this anomaly?

Detailed Answer:
After going through the medical details provided by you i would like to tell you that your symptoms of dizziness are most likely due to blood pressure towards the lower side.
Also the symptoms of dizziness on standing points towards postural hypotension.
It wont cause any significant health issue in future. However what you can do to improve this is to increase your daily water intake intake along with a slight increase in your daily dietary salt intake.
Also before standing from lying down position make a practice to first sit for a while and then stand up.
I hope this information will be helpful.
