Suggest Treatment For Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome And EDS

likely to be depressive disorder, medicines will help
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read the query and I can understand that you have been through a lot at an early age of 30yrs.. presently you have significant mood issues ranging from low mood, frustration, anger etc..
The new sets of symptoms are most probably reflective of depression setting in..and you should ideally start an antidepressant.
Both, the disturbed chemical levels in body due to tumor and the effect of chemotheraputic drugs plus the psychological stress might have led to the depression in you.. Whatever the reason might be but you will have good relief with meds.
You will feel calm, and more lively and will get back your zeal to go ahead.
Drugs like escitalopram and sertraline are safe, mild and good; have lesser interaction with other medicines. You can start any of them ( please discuss them with your current treating team as well).
If you have sleeping problems as well- zolpidem 10 mg at night will be helpful. It is no addicting and can be stopped when your sleep gets better.
Please do not lose hope, the mood symptoms are well treatable.
Along with drugs try to enter into counselling sessions with a trained psychiatrist or psychologist- for early and effective recovery.
P.S. take care of electrolytes as they can be a trigger for irritability as well.
I hope the reply helps you.
Wish you good luck!

it usually mimic anxiety..
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Ok...actually you should have mentioned that there is no sadness in the initial query..because you have several other symptoms which are there in depression as well. But now as you say that you are happy and hopeful, so depression is completely ruled out. It is beacuse sadness is the most important component to diagnose depressive disorder.
now, pots dysautonomia has some features like anxiety, palpitation and other autonomic symtoms like fluctuating blood pressure...this can mimic anxiety diosder but not depressive disorder ( as I mentioned before that anything to look like depression must be accompanied by sadness : it is a must).
So,if you only feel anxious and have pounding heart and irritability and swings of blood pressure - then surely it can be part of your medical diagnosis. But we dont see mood swings that commonly in dsautonomia ..mood swings technically mean- alteration mood from feeling very good to again feeling low..and that up down happens ..
The treatment of your symptoms is usually : by managing the autonomic symptoms - blood pressure and electrolytes.
Sometimes one may require anti anxiety meds if they increase or are not sufficiently controlled.
Wish you speedy recovery.
I hope the reply is useful to you.
please feel free to ask more questions for any clarification.
