Suggest Treatment For Premature Ejaculation While On Tetrafol Plus And Clomipramine
Question: Since from last four months ,I am having premature ejaculation and could able to increase duration of intercourse while with partner. Some times I had erection problem. I am normal aged 46, had no diabetes and cardiac problem . I am working as a government employee and had no stress . As per locally available doctor, I am taking Tetrafol plus : vitamin suppliment for erection, CLOMIPRAMINE 10 MG anti depression tablet. I am hesitant to take anti depression tablet fearing that it may cause constipation as I had constipation problem also. Please advice and suggest whether to continue same tablet mentioned above.

Premature ejaculation is a distressing problem. It can sometimes lead to significant loss of confidence. Clomipramine is a TCA drug but in high doses helps to delay the ejaculation time. The dose of 10 mg only lead to constipation and will not do anything. But increasing the dose to 50 mg should help you delay the ejaculation time.
If you don't want to use regular medicines then drugs like Dapoxetine can be tried. If taken about one hour before sex the drug helps to delay the ejaculation time. The drug is safe to use and also doesn't have any serious effects. Please contact a psychiatrist for prescription.
