Yes prematurity is seen in almost 15-17% of pregnancies and can be easily managed if they occur after 8 and a half months of pregnancy as by that time all the organs of the baby are quite developed and thus need minimal neonatal care in hospital.
But if it occurs before that then at times there is a risk prolonged hospital stay of the baby and even mild to moderate mental retardation is seen.
So you should have more than usual rest and avoid intercourse with your husband.

My husband is very caring and loves me. And sometimes involves in Foreplay but doesn't insert. Could you please suggest if this should also be avoided.

No dear, no problem in foreplay. You can very well carry on with that but avoid insertion in vagina and fiddling with nipples. Nipple stimulation can result in labor pains if already predisposed to it.
