Brief Answer:
Stomach hyperacidity; PPIs advised
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Your symptoms are indicative for possible increased stomach acidity which are causing heartburn and amelioration after taking soda.
To my opinion, you should start PPIs treatment to reduce acidity. Upper endoscopy is advised for further evaluation.
I also advise to make some changes in your diet regimen:
- avoid foods that reduce acidity (spicy / chilly / oily / fried foods
- eat often and small portions
- do not lie down immediately after eating.
Hope it was of help!
