Question : last night in the middle of the night i vomited. i woke up this morning and went to urinate and became light headed and weak along with profuse sweating as well as my ears ringing. my temp right now is 96.8 and i'm drinking some gateraide. alittle bit ago i had some diarrhea. is this possibly the flu - i have not had a flu shot this year?

I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

This is not the flu.
But it looks like its a viral Gastrointestinal infection.
It starts with one day of vomiting and then 3-5 days of diarrhea. The other symptoms are because of dehydration.

Drink plenty of fluids its very important - small amounts but often.
Have a diet with banana -apple- rice- toast.
Take a probiotic.

If you notice blood or mucus in the diarrhea, its time to see a local doctor.
