Suggest Treatment For Psoriasis
Question: Is there any cure, orany topical solution for psoriasis that works? Does it ever "go away"?

Hi
I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
Psoriasis ,as you must be aware of..is a chronic skin problem. It needs to be managed as and when the skin lesions appear. It is not really possible to cure it completely from inside,although many drugs have been tried till date.
In most cases, the lesions of psoriasis respond to application of topical steroid cream.
However since in your case,they are not responding,you can try application of topical steroid cream under occlusion.
Apply the steroid cream over the lesions at night and then cover the area with a polythene type material so that there is close contact of the medicine with the lesions and it is better absorbed. This will help in rapid clearance.
In case this does not help..You can discuss the option of intra lesional injections with your doctor or get any other agents like coal tar or salicylic acid creams or vitamin d analogues. All of these are prescription drugs,so you might need your doctors recommendation for buying these.
