Suggest Treatment For Psoriasis

Question: I have had a dryness mostly on my 2 thumbs, index and middle fingers on both hands. My doctor looked at it and said I'm touching something. I saw a dermatologist and he said the same thing, without taking any tests. It's been going on for at least 18 months. I have evolved putting on creams and using latex gloves even during the day to keep them from getting cracked and sensitivity with a single facial hair feeling like it's a knife. What to do?
Brief Answer:
Psoriasis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query.
Probably you have developed psoriasis.
Your description is not suggestive of that.
Skin peels off in this condition.
I treat such cases with a combination of topical steroid cream to be applied in morning and coal tar lotion to be applied in night.
This combination works well.
If possible upload a photograph of the involved area.
This will help me in giving a closer diagnosis and better way of management.
Waiting for your response.
Thank you.

My skin gets very dry to the point of cracked skin, but never to the point of skin falling off. I spoke to a neighbor about my condition and he mentioned his skin used to fall off, not me.
If it were an illness like psoriasis wouldn't it be to the whole hand and not just to the same area on both hands, the thumb, index finger and middle finger?
