Pubic lice is usually treated with permethrin 5 percent lotion.
It is applied below neck on the entire body at night, kept for 8-10 hours and then washed off in the morning.
The same treatment is repeated again after 10 days.
For better results it is combined with ivermectin tablet.
A single dose of 200 microgram per kg body weight is taken and again repeated after 10 days.
For itching antihistaminic like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg once or twice daily is taken depending on the intensity of itching.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
