Question: have infection on the left cheek of my bum from 5th XXXXXXX i have visited the doctor on 7th XXXXXXX , the doctor prescribed some medications



metrolex-400 mg

poli-cifloxin-500 mg

brustan-paracetamol-325 mg



no antibiotic cream was given



the boil has broken and the pas is coming out but still the problem is not finished



should i go and c the doctor again



the wond looks like a bite mark



how long does it take for the infection to go

Yes, you should see a doctor again. General surgeon is the best choice. According to the uploaded picture, this is not just an infection. Typical boil when it ruptures and the pus is evacuated disappears.
This one has not disappeared because its a kind of cyst. It may be due to ingrown hair. You can see the reddish tissue inside the boil. That the cells trying to eliminate the ingrown hair. This is not a bite mark for sure.
If this will be left without a treatment, or antibiotics treatment will be the only treatment, you may expect it will be like this for months. And it can become larger.
So please, consult general surgeon. It should be removed. This procedure can be done in local anesthesia.
