Posted on Thu, 9 Jun 2016
Question: I have these random bruises on my legs. Near the shin always. I don t remember getting hurt anywhere. It doesn't pain. They are green and then they change to red and fade away in 1-2 weeks. I have been getting them for more than a year. Is it something to worry about?"
I am not on any pills. No diabetes. CBC Normal though esr is a little high. It is about 23mm. Is it a cause for concern?

I get them atleast once a month.

Brief Answer:
Not a cause of worry.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, dear
Welcome back to HCM.
I have gone through your question and your all reports.
Your complete blood count, coagulation profile and liver function test all are absolutely normal. So there is no any major cause.

Slightly high esr is not a cause of concern.

We have ruled out all major cause of bruise. So don't worry. It may be due to unnoticed trivial trauma or vitamin deficiency.

Just take vitamin B12 and vitamin C supplements.

Hope I have answered your question. If you have any doubts then feel free to ask me. I will be happy to answer. Thanks for using health care magic. Wish you a very good health.

Will elevated esr cause a problem? Also, i could see that globulin in lft was slighly higher. Is it a concern?
