Suggest Treatment For Rapid Weight Loss Due To Parasite In Stomach
Question: Hi I had a. Colan cleanse due to getting an endopesy camera up to check my Colon I was given moviprep and then I seen something in my stoll after the prep was taken any ideas what it could be would it be a parasite?? I lost 10kg the last 7 weeks had camera up down, bloods ok x-rays and CT scan clear everything clear would it be parasites causing me to lose Weight here is pictures thanks

I have gone thruogh your medical history carefully and the pictures you sent and I can say as the following:
The thing you saw in your stool could be an worm larva. However, if I was your caring doctor would advise to run examination of stool for ova/parasites:
- collect the stool samples of 3 consecutive days
- try to have your bowel completeley on a clean dish, mix all the parts well,then, fill the container with the fecal mass. This is to ensure you've got enough sample from 3 parts of bowels (beginning, middle, and upper)
It is true that some types of parasites would cause loss of appetetite leading to losing weight as long as other diagnostic tests are negative for other infectious or tumoral pathologies.
