Suggest Treatment For Rashes After Using Condom Catheter

Question: I'm a paraplegic with recurring cellulitis. I had failure of condum catheter 5 nights a d develop rash that I thought was diaper rash and used zinc oxide. It now is painful on my hip and weeps with testicles being main source. This area red and my leg is swollen. What steps should I take.

Thanks for providing clinical photograph. The red lesion are due to fungal cellulitis also known as Intertrigonitis.

I would suggest you the following

1.Keep the area clean and dry.

2. Use antifungal dusting powder after washing the area

3. Local application of antifungal and steroid ointment twice a day for two weeks will be helpful
