PROBABILITY:-
Allergic reaction to the skin. Such kind of inflammatory reactions appear with piercing the body and may be associated with the earpiece used or it is due to the anesthetic applied to the skin. The first step in management we take is to remove the causative agent.
Management:-
Remove or change the ear-tubes used for her.
Give her syrup Tylenol, and syrup Claritin.
Apply Pro-Cort topical on the rashes for soothing effects.
Give her plenty of water to drink and keep a balanced healthy diet with more fruits and vegetables in it.

She had a Myringotomy, under general anesthesia. They had to drain fluid behind her eardrums. Could this be related?

Yes this is possible to have a situation like this after surgery as a side effect of anesthesia medications.
Keep giving her syrups or tablets Tylenol and claritin by mouth, and apply ProCort topical Ointment on the affected areas. It will be OK soon. No worries at large.
