Suggest Treatment For Rashes On The Face And Constipation In A Child

Question: Hello doctor - my son is 2 years old and he recently developed rashes on his face. I am attaching a picture (the photo was taken after applying some coconut oil). Also, he has been constipated for a couple of days now.. and not eating properly during this time.. Could you please advise?
Brief Answer:
Looks like eczema - 2 days doesn't amount to constipation
Detailed Answer:
Hi... I have seen the image and it looks like eczema...a sort of skin allergy. The trick of the management is keeping the skin moist and never allowing it to be dry. For this oil massage and lotions like Oilatum will help. Regarding cure options - eczema is a sort of allergy...allergies can be controlled. But usually kids grow out of it...that is as the age progresses.
Not passing motion for 2 days doesn't amount to constipation. Give him atleast 1 litre of water per day and papaya. That should set him right.
