Brief Answer:
Continue valciclovir for another 4 days, apply topical antibiotic,
Detailed Answer:
I have reviewed the attached photographs.
Looking at the pictures of the nape of the neck the blisters seem to have settled and I can appreciate some crusting on the affected area.
It means the infection is starting to resolve.
According to me he should continue with tablet valciclovir 1 gram thrice daily for another 4 days to make a total of 10 days of antiviral medication.
Besides this apply topical antibiotic like fusidic acid cream or mupirocin cream on the affected areas twice daily to avoid secondary bacterial infection.
Herpes zoster takes time to settle.
It can take upto 3 weeks to subside.

Brief Answer:
Don't use Momate F cream, can go for tzanck smear
Detailed Answer:
Momate F cream contains steroid which should not be used on herpetic lesions.
Appy a plain antibiotic cream on the affected areas after washing with plain water. Don't wash with savlon.
It will further irritate the skin.
Moreover lesions of herpes will come up for few more days before stopping completely.
He will just have to continue with the antiviral medication.
Is he diabetic or immunosuppressed or taking any long term medicines?
In case of doubt you can go for tzanck smear test of any blister from a laboratory.
That will be 100 percent confirmatory of herpes zoster infection.
