Question: My husband woke up with a blood stain on his underwear in the front not the rectum . He is healthy 61 yrs old and we are concerned . No pain at all. This is the first time this has happened
Brief Answer:
Wait and watch. Mention associated symptoms, if any.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
I have carefully gone through your query and understand your concerns. However, I would need to ask whether your husband presently has any of either diarrhoea or constipation or any other associated symptoms like difficulty or burning sensation during passage of urine. I would insist you not to panic but to wait and watch.
Please write back and I would guide you further.
Regards

He has no diarrhea but sometimes slow urination . No pain or other symptoms and some weight loss we think may be due to stress. No diarrhea no constipation no rectal blood ,, the weight loss could be due to stress we have in household right now
Brief Answer:
The strategy would be to wait and watch.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. I understand that there is nothing else apparently wrong at the moment. In such a case I would insist you to overlook this incident until something else comes up. If nothing else comes up, you can safely ignore it altogether.
