Question: I have recurrent balanitis..i have used clotrimazole,onbet,and t bact ointments but it works temporaly.,is there any permanent cure for saving my foreskin

Brief Answer: CHECK YOUR BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS Detailed Answer: Hello, Welcome to Healthcare Magic, Recurrent Balanitis can be a manifestation of Diabetes in some of the cases. I usually prefer to ask my patients to get done their blood sugar levels to rule out Diabetes. So I suggest you to check for your blood sugar levels. Generally in my clinical practice i prefer to put on Mometasone+fusidicacid available as HHFUDIC for my patients. I have got checked my blood sugar level and it is normal(as per the doctor) Is there any permanent solution as I am fed up with this problem and didn't find any effective medicine yet.I don't want to go for surgery.kindly advise the medicine and the frequency for taking them. Regards XXXX

Brief Answer: physician opinion is required Detailed Answer: Hello XXXXXXX I can understand your concern, As i have told you, for cases like this i prefer to put on HHFUDIC cream two times after bath. But its always better to get clarified by a expert Physician to sort out the permanent solution. More over you are telling its been a chronic problem, so you should be checked in the clinic for any problem in retracting your foreskin also.If it is so there is no alternate solution except going for circumcision. regards, DR.VENKAT
