Hi

I understand your concern regarding your skin problem and I hope I am able to help you in the same.
I have seen the attached picture.
On first look, you seem to have developed a fungal infection called pityriasis versicolor.
I would like to know certain more details from you for confirmation of the diagnosis .
Since when are you developing these lesions?
How many do you have at present ?
Are they present only over the neck or the upper back as well ?
Do they develop at the same place each time or at different sites ?
Any redness or itching in the lesions?
What all do you apply over them ?any cream or oil or medicines ?
Also Please click some more close up pictures of the affected area and upload them here on this page .

I am sure I will be able to help you better once you provide me the pictures along with the above details.

I only have it in neck thats all ... left and right side and one on the back of neck ... they usually on and off persist for few months and tend to fade away.

Brief Answer:
Take treatment ,apply anti fungal drug

Detailed Answer:
Hi again

You tend to develop a superficial fungal infection called brown variety of pityriasis versicolor .
Avoid applying any oil or moisturisers over the affected area .
Apply an anti fungal cream candid cream or canestan cream over the affected areas twice daily for two weeks atleast .
Sometimes even oral anti fungals have to be given along in recurrent cases .
So in case the infection tends to persist or recur ,I would advise you to see a nearby dermatologist to get a fungal testing done before starting oral drugs .
