Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Ear Infection

Ear tubes
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your XXXXXXX care concerns
You child had ear tubes placed because of recurrent ear infections. Since being placed he has had some dried blood. This is to be expected. I would not worry about the blood. It will eventually stop. As long as it is not lots of blood I would not be concerned. If he get a cold this also should not be a concern. The tubes are there to prevent ear infection and pain from a URI that develops into an ear infection. This will be a good test to see if they work. If he has some drainage that is good that actually shows that the tubes are working properly.
