Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
The most common cause o ever in this age is some viral infection.Viral infection usually subsides within 3-4 days. But in your kid fever is there for 10 days,so bacterial infection must be ruled out.
I have gone through the prescription and prescribed medications are appropriate.
The investigations like hemogram, widal test,SGOT/SGPT and urine examination would help in detection of typhoid, bacterial infection, liver infection or urinary infection if any.Vitamin D deficiency is very common in pediatric age group and thus its level should be checked.I would also like to get malaria antigen test done in addition to the prescribed tests.
Please get back with the reports so that I better able to help you out.Till then continue with the same medications.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if you have any more query.
Regards

SGOT,SGPT and Urine.
Reports also attached in my earlier communication.Pl find attached again and suggest.
I would like to get few more tests done and add an antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for follow up
I have gone through the reports. All the reports are within normal limit except the hemogram showing neutrophilic leucocytosis, which indicates some bacterial infection. Widal test, positive for 1/40 titre is also not suggestive of typhoid.(A titre of more than 1/80 or rising titre is needed for diagnosis).
I would like to get septic screen like CRP(C reactive protein)and blood culture done. Also get a malaria test done.
A broad spectrum antibiotic need to be given after collection of sample for septic screen and blood culture. Please get an antibiotic prescribed by your doctor and continue other medications prescribed earlier.
Regards
