Suggest Treatment For Recurrent Mouth Ulcers And Dry Mouth
Question: I am regularly getting mouth ulcer and dry mouth say after every 2 month interval. In my diet i usually take home food, I don't take Non Veg, neither Smoking and Drinking etc Usually as per my work i use to work from 11:00AM to 1:00AM and mostly on work is on computer. When so ever it occurs it caputer whole mouth and it become so dry that even drinking water gives me pain. Last one year i am regularly getting effected from the outh ulcer and dry mouth. Please help

Hi, thanks for posting your concern in HCM.
You need to undergo evaluation for B12 deficiency or sjogren syndrome or any autoimmune disease.
As you have been on vegetarian diet, B12 deficiency needs evaluation.
Secondly, similar symptoms are common with Sjogren syndrome.
Thirdly, poor oral hygiene may be a reason.
So, my recommendations are-
1. Cap Polybion Forte once daily for one month.
2. Plenty of oral fluid.
3. Avoid food requiring repeated chewing which would cause friction.
4. Complete blood count, urea, creatinine, electrolytes, LFT, HbA1c, anti SSA, anti ssb
5.You may rinse with Chlorhex mouthwash twice daily and apply Metrogyl DG gel locally over mouth ulcers.
You should also consult a local physician for clinical examination.
