Brief Answer:
Most probably a yeast infection.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing to us about it.

I can understand your concern, though.

It can be most probably a yeast or fungal infection.

Are you having other symptoms associated with it like itching, curdy white vaginal discharge or smell?

Diagnosis can be confirmed with KOH mounting.

Treatment includes-

-Maintain proper vaginal hygiene.
-Use topical antifungal cream and fluconazole 150 mg tablet once weekly after consulting your physician.
- Use loose fitting cotton undergarment
-Eat low carbohydrate and sugary food
-Take curd in your diet with high protein diet.
-Keep watch on blood sugar level

Hope it is helpful, feel free to ask more.

Good luck.
Regards
Dr. Richa
