Suggest Treatment For Recurring UTI In A Person With A History Of Preeclampsia

Question: I have a history of preeclampsia and kidney infection at 30weeks..i had recurrent UTI.Now i am again TTC.My homocysteine level is 15.4umol/L.My Anti cardiolipin anitbodies IgG and other test are normal.MTHFR test not done.My doctor has told me that i will have to take blood thinner injection daily in my next pregnancy.Is there any other alternative ?.I don't want to take injection.

I know one of my friend who has a history of preeclampsia and recurrent miscarriages .She was given aspirin tab during her pregnancy and now she has a healthy baby girl..can aspirin be prescribed instead of injections?

Both aspirin and heparin injections

No dear, rather both aspirin and Heparin injections will be given to you and still you may need regular BP monitoring and of course restrictions on salt intake.

Don't refrain from injections and just remember that every case is different .

Antioxidants and folic acid

Detailed Answer:
You should increase intake of antioxidants by taking a lot of salads and green vegetables and fruits as well.
Also ask her to take tablet folic acid daily which is a very important prenatal vitamin.
