Suggest Treatment For Recurring Rashes On The Scrotum
Question: The last few days my scrotum has been having a consisting reoccuring rash that i have been treating with triamcinolone acetonide cream It would significantly disapate an could back agian only on scrotal tissue and the back of penile shaft.
Rash is non itchy non painful seems however on this round appears in a linear line on left side. See pics. I have been trying to keep area dry but my job as a mechanic doesnt aid in that endevor. If it is dermatitis or folliculitis why is it not responding to triamcinolone cream.

Brief Answer:
Fungal infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
You have developed fungal infection of groin.
Please dont apply triamcinolone it's a steroid and will flare up infection.
I treat such cases with an antifungal cream like clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for a month and tablet fluconazole 150 mg once a week for 4 weeks.
These are antifungal agents and are safe as well as effective.
You can try these.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
