Suggest Treatment For Red And Swollen Insect Bites On Chest And Neck
Question: During the past three days I have 25 to 30 insect bites primarily on my chest (most) and neck. Most are small red bites a few are swollen and large and neither appears to be infected. Is there a professional in my area you could refer me too that I may see today or are you in a position to diagnose and recommend what I should do? I just came from my vet and she did an exam and said it is unlikely that my indoor/outdoor cat has fleas. They may be mosquito bites but I do not think so. I suspect they may be spider bites. I live in an areas with lots of trees and grass.
Brief Answer:
A photo of the affected skin is needed
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concern.
Can you please send me a photo of the affected skin (with bites)?
In cases of insect bites, they are often associated with allergy bumps on skin. This will last for only a few days.
Meanwhile, can use antihistaminic meds orally and locally ti subside the symptoms.
Looking forward to have the requested photo in.
