Suggest Treatment For Red Blotches With Whiteheads On Face
Looks like may be rosacea.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,
I am sorry you are having this rash. Assuming you are otherwise healthy and have had no recent infections, and assuming you have had problems with skin redness or flushing for awhile, it looks like it may be rosacea.
There are 4 main types of rosacea. The type of rosacea that it looks like you have from the picture is "subtype 2" papulopustular rosacea, sometimes called acne rosacea. Rosacea usually starts with a tendency to flush more easily than other people. Over time the redness can spread beyond the nose and cheeks to the forehead and chin, and sometime includes the ears, chest, and back can be red all the time.
There is treatment for this which includes prescription topical medicine (usually a cream or gel) to get it under control, and then different prescription topical medicine to keep it in remission. You may also find that certain foods (especially hot or spicy foods), alcohol, heat, and emotional situations make it worse and sometimes you can modify these.
Given how extensive your rash is, I'd recommend seeing a dermatologist. But if you can't get in to see one soon, go to your family practice doctor or internist as they will be able to at least start initial treatment. If rosacea is confirmed when you go see the doctor in person, then you may want to look up information about lifestyle management from the rosacea association, or rewrite a question (request my name) and I can provide more specifics about it.
Good luck to you. Please let me know if I can provide further information or clarification.
Your welcome!
