Brief Answer:
Irritant contact dermatitis to analgesic spray
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX. Thank you for writing to us
I am dr.kakkar(dermatologist). I have gone through your query and I have also reviewed the Image.
In the images I can make out a faint redness on left side of abdomen and this is most likely, as you rightly mentioned, due to analgesic spray which you have used locally for abdominal pain. These analgesic sprays commonly have an alcohol base in addition to other active ingredients which are irritants to skin.
There is nothing to be concerned about. I suggest you to use a soothing lotion e.g calasoft lotion, twice daily and your skin should be fine.
Regards

Thank you doctor kakkar your reply has reassured me.
As I am light skinned is it normal to have a few white patches? As the images may show is this normal skin.
I also had a little capillary on my chest the doctor said it is part of the skin and normal from your experience in your field can people get these from gaining weight?
Also I have uploaded a image of my neck where I had a little patch of discoloration a few years ago which went could you have a look and see if all is clear? I think it may have been a patch of dry skin but I can't locate now so I think it's healed but always good to get a experts opinion.
Also skin on the body is there variance etc?

Brief Answer:
Patch on neck is post inflammatory hypopigmentation due to P. XXXXXXX
Detailed Answer:
Thank you. I have reviewed the Image.
The white patch on neck is post inflammatory hypopigmentation due to Pityriasis XXXXXXX It is common in patients with dry skin and is not a worry.
I suggest you to use tacrolimus forte 0.1% ointment(Topgraf 0.1% ointment), twice daily for 4-6 weeks. Rub it in.
A few dilated capillaries on chest i.e telangiectasis is due to sun damage which is quite common in fair skinned and is also nothing to worry. Not related to weight gain.
Yes, intensity of melanin varies between regions of body. Usually covered body parts and inside of arms (flexors) are lighter than the rest of body.

Hi Dr kakkar
Theres no white patch, there was a discoloration like a grey colour but it has gone now.
What I was trying to say was what could it have been.
As it has now disappeared there is no need for creams?
Thats my final question thank you
I have looked at a image sir of p XXXXXXX and I assure you it is nothing like that and normal skin.
I think I may have confused you when I said discoloration. It was a grey skin patch (dry skin) and not white in any way

Brief Answer:
Dry scaly patch may have been due to dry skin leading to discoid dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi. I have re-looked at the Image.
Right now there is no patch. So that has resolved and there is no need to apply any cream.
Previous dry, scaly, gray patch could have been due to dry skin leading to discoid eczema/dermatitis
