Suggest Treatment For Red Patch On Leg

Can be lichenified psoriasis or fungal infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. If you send a picture of the lesion it will be more helpful in analysing the condition. It can be most likely lichenified psoriasis or fungal infection.
Is there any scaly appearance along with redness?
In case of fungal infection using triple action ointments like Panderm ( Terbinafine (antifungal) + clobetasol (corticosteroid) + ofloxacin and ornidazole (antibiotic)) for local application daily will be helpful.
If lichenified psoriasis then using combination of clobetasol and salicylic acid will be helpful to clear it. Avoid soaps and irritants on the area. Use saline or warm water for washing.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Looks like fungal dermatitis.

Welcome again.
Thank you for your follow up query.
I have gone through your picture. It looks like fungal dermatitis. Using triple action cream for local application like I mentioned before is will be helpful for this. You can ask your GP for prescription of that. Avoid soaps and irritants to wash the area. Just use warm water or saline for washing. Scratching can make it worse. For this you can take anti histamines like cetirizine (zyrtec) which is available as over the counter once daily for controlling itching.
If there is no improvement then consult a dermatologist and do skin scraping for pathology examination to rule out other causes.
