Suggest Treatment For Red Rashes On The Legs
Question: I am a 53 year old female. I have developed red non itchy rashes over the backs of both my legs. A couple are shaped in a half ring around side of my knee, but most are just up and down the backs of thighs up into my rear. None are scaly, dry, itchy, or infected, or scaby. I also have some aching in my legs, feet, but not severe just bothersome especially at night when trying to sleep and some prickly feelings in them. I have had this rash now about 2 months and it just continues. I was prescribed anti fungal meds but ointment had no results. I am concerned I have something serious and it is lingering because no one knows what this rash is. thanks.
I continued to enter that I am female and 53, but this website keeps reverting my age and gender.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query and photograph.
It is looking like fungal infection.
I treat such cases with topical antifungal cream like clotrimazole to be applied twice daily for a month.
It is safe and effective and usually available over the counter.
You can try this.
You also have lot of dilated veins on your legs.
Please meet a surgeon and discuss regarding this.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.
