Suggest Treatment For Red Skin Patch On Upper Arm

default
Posted on Mon, 1 Dec 2014
Question: I started having red patches of skin on my right upper arm about ten to twenty years ago. No pain or itching noted. I went to a skin doctor who looked at it, took scrapings, and looked at them under a microscope. He could not explain it. I used the usual hydrocortisone cream without results and never went back. They turned brown and I lived with it. Now I notice it is spreading to my lower right forearm. Still painless and without pyrites. What could this be?
