Suggest Treatment For Red Sore On The Buttocks
Question: I have a red/pinking 1/5 inch in diameter circular sore. I never had this before on my butt. I have had psoriasis before and it may be the same things, but on my butt is quite strange. I also went to the beach a few weeks ago and got sunburned so I am not sure if that would be the issue.
Brief Answer:

Dear Ms
It is unlikely to be due to result of sunburn as it would not have been exposed on the beach. The clinical photograph provided by you is not very clear. It would be very helpful if you could provide a clear photograph for further assessment.

That part of my butt was in the sun. I had a terrible burn. I got this before and it was psoriasis.
Brief Answer:
Likely to be new lesion of Psoariasis
Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms
Individuals with Psoariasis can develop new lesion following minor trauma or even prolonged direct exposure to sunlight.
From the clinical photograph it appears to new lesion of Psoariasis following exposure to sunlight.
I would suggest you the following
1. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight
2. Local application of mild steroid ointment will be helpful
Do keep me updated about development
Thanks
