Brief Answer:
He is having subconjunctival hemorrhage.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I answer health problems related to eye.

I reviewed history and the photo attached with the question.
Your friend is having subconjunctival vhemorrhage following injury.
There is no need to worry about this condition. This will resolve slowly over 2-3 weeks as the blood gets absorbed. Use of cold compression and vitamin C tablets is helpful in early resolution.
If there are symptoms like pain, blurring of vision, double vision...., which indicate injury to cornea or other intraocular structures then evaluation by eye doctor is required to find out the cause and treatment accordingly.

Hence I advice to consult ophthalmologist for examination to confirm the diagnosis and treatment accordingly.

Hope this is helpful to you.

Thank you
With regards
