Question: I have itchy and red hands then it goes away and appears on my leg on my arms and sometime on my feet. I am taking steroids I have a lab dog.

From your description it looks like allergy. Are you aware of anything that you are allergic to?

Why are you taking steroids and for how long? If you are on steroids you should not have allergic reaction because that's what is normally given to treat allergy.

If you have been taking steroids for a long time, may be the lesions are a side effects of steroids.

I suggest you consult a dermatologist or a immunologist who can get a clear picture of the skin lesions and advise you accordingly .

You could even be allergic to dog. If possible, please try to be away from the dog for few days and if the lesions disappear it indicates allergy to dog.
