
Suggest Treatment For Redness And Pain In The Shoulder

Question: Hi, I am again writing about an issue that my BF is having....he has had a "growth?" on his left shoulder for two years....it is hard when touched and has never bothered him until a couple of days ago...he tells me that it now hurts really bad and I also see that it appears to have changed in shape and is becoming red around it and bruised as well. I have photos if you would like to see them.

Thanks for the pictures.
Apparently this looks to be infected sebaceous cyst.
May need a course of an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medicines for it to settle so that can be removed at an appropriate time to get rid of the mass which is not a normal part of the body and also to get histo-pathology report to get a confirmatory as to what the swelling was.
