Can you please attach a photo of this leg? Since when do you have such swelling? Do you have fever? Have you had any injury recently? Has the ultrasound revealed veins insufficiency?
Swollen foot and leg, if not caused by veins thrombosis, can appear due to bacterial infection of soft tissues. Redness, swelling and high fever are quite characteristic for such infection.
In case of infection, antibiotics treatment is necessary.
