Question: I have some redness in my left eye. There is no pain, and it does not itch. I don't recall injuring it. Should I be concerned?

Brief Answer:
subconjunctival hematoma

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

Thank you fro submitting an image of your eye. The image clearly shows a subconjunctival hematoma. This is basically a small broke blood vessel in the conjunctiva of the eye. Very common and not anything to worry about. These happen with rubbing your eye or with sneezing or grunting. These hematomas resolve without any problem in 3-4 days.

In summary
1 Subconjunctival hematoma
2. Normal and common
3. Resolve without treatment in 3-4 days

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
