Suggest Treatment For Redness On Face While Having Multiple Sclerosis
![default](/r/images/default.png)
Brief Answer:
A photo of the affected area is required
Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.
Before running into final conclusion, I need to have a look at the redness purple you are having. Can you please send a photo of the affected area to me so I can analyze the changes myself?
Apart hormonal flushes, skin infection or allergies to also consider.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Menopause flushes....
Detailed Answer:
Hi back,
OK then, from what you are reporting, it seems to be related to hot flushes because of menopause hormonal changes.
It is benign, and usually passes on its own after a minute or so. If it will be repeated, and becomes unbearable, then, can consult with gynecologist and check hormonal level for possible hormonal replacement therapy.
For the moment, chamomile/valerianna tea once daily or Primrose oil supplement can help.
All the best.

It lasts for more than an hour and feels very different from the menopausal hot flushes I experienced earlier. No sweating and I do not feel hot in general it just burns on my face and arms. A very different sensation .

Detailed Answer:
Hi back my dear,
OK then, I still think of menopause hormonal changes, however, skin infection should be ruled out through consultation with dermatologist.
Please apply cold compresses locally and observe what makes the symptoms precipitate: foods? drinks? herbs?
All the best.
