Welcome to HCM
It is not common that it persists after drainage and antibiotic therapy unless you have diabetes or other immunosuppressive diseases.
In most cases it should improve on drainage only.
So it may have been inadequate drainage or inadequate antibiotic therapy.
For such infection it is more advisable to take AMOXICILLIN+METRONIDAZOLE or CLINDAMYCIN(since all of these are prescription medicines so you're going to need to check into your local physician to get them).
However if there is swelling and abscess it should be drained again or nail should be removed partially.
Wish you good health.Regards
