Brief Answer:
Yes please follow the advice and admit her.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for posting your query.

What I understand from your query is her platelet count is reduced 52000 and sgot and sgpt are elevated.

It is a condition where one needs to very watchful. This condition in which Hemolysis(destruction of red cells), elevated liver enzymes, and low platelets (HELLP) usually presents as a complication of preeclampsia( a condition of high blood pressure and loss protein during pregnancy)

Please follow your doctor's advice, get her admitted soon. The plan for treatment also seems to be fine.

Wishing her best of health.

Regards,

Dr.Pragnesh

Brief Answer:
Mother`s health is first priority, can go for it

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Good to hear from again.

The first priority in pregnancy is mothers health.

Again after admitting her for couple of days, first they will try to stabilize her with medicine and will keep a close watch.

Even after that if things does not seems to be coming under control they will plan for cesarean.

In mean time they will also accesses the child's condition by sonography.

Please do not worry and follow your doctor's advice.

Thanks for you Suggestion doctor, but strange part was when alternate lab test was advised by the Doctor, it is completely different metrics. SGPT 60 & SGOT 90
another Alkaline - 121. Due to this confusion once again we did blood test on today. SGPT - 40, SGOT - 60, Alkanline -410 (100-290 normal range) is the latest parameters and it looks almost normal now. Can we postpone the deliver date to another two weeks (after 36th) and is there any chance to have Normal pregnancy instead of Cesarian.

Please advice.

Brief Answer:
Yes if your doctor is satisfied with pts condition

Detailed Answer:
Sure.

first condition is that your treating doctor must be satisfied with conditions of both mother and child.

Blood pressure and other vitals should be normal.

Frequent follow up is must. Ultrasound must be done to maturity of child inside.

On any deviation from normal, action must be taken in time.

But just for sake of avoiding cesarean please do not avoid timely treatment.

If you are very much confused and concerned you can always take second opinion.

Regards,

Dr.Pragnesh
