Suggest Treatment For Right Side Body Pain Despite Taking Pregabalin
Question: Hi, Yes please. My sister-in-law had a very severe stroke some years ago and up until recently nothing has relieved her horrible pain now the right side of her body. She has central nerve damage in her brain as a result of the stroke. About 2 weeks ago she was put on Pregabilin 25 mg. 2 tabs. in the morning and 1 tab. in the evening. After an initial reaction of nausea and sickness she persisted and in the last few days the pain has subsided. Today the pain is back in full force and it is Sunday and we cannot as her Gpbut he did mention that he could increase the dose if the pain returns. Could this safely be done today withoout reference to her GP?

Thank you so much for your advice. I have passed this information on to XXXXXXX my sister-in-law and advised her to take 2 x 25 mg. Pregabilin tonight to see if that helps and then we will talk to her GP tomorrow who may well suggest a further increase. Thank you again. XXXXXXX XXXX
