Suggest Treatment For Right Sided Abdominal Pain While On Advil
Question: I have right side pain. been diagnosed with gallstones, Hida scan says gallbladder working. I have pain. heat helps along with advil. I want to not have pain
Brief Answer:
Surgery has to be done.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Surgery is the only solution for you. Can be laparoscopic if you wont wait with it for too long. Otherwise an inflammation will appear and laparoscopy can be hard to perform.
For temporal pain relief you may try Buscolisine and Metamizole. Hot bath should also help. You should avoid any fatty foods, fried foods, spicy foods and alcohol.
Waiting with stones can also cause acute pancreatitis. So please consult a surgeon.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
