Suggest Treatment For Running Nose While Looking Down And Leg Tremors

Question: Hello. My nose keeps running when i look down or when i cry. It happens more often in winter. I heard about CSF so I did a home test. I used a pure cotton handkerchief to wipe the fluid and when it dried, it was soft. Not like how it would have been if I had a cold. Anyway, I also have a very bad pain in the back of my head when I laugh out loud. I usually have to stop laughing since the pain is so bad and then after a few minutes the pain would calm down. I've notice that since a last year am not very coordinated in my movements and that I have tremors in my leg when I'm sitting still or in my hands when I'm writing or holding something. WHat do I have?? Thank you
Brief Answer:
Beta 2 transferrin test on the nasal secretions.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for your query.
1. Since you have a positive Reservoir Sign and a positive Handkerchief Test, get a Beta 2 transferrin test done on the nasal secretions. Collect the nasal secretions in a sterile container (obtained from the lab).
2. Upload the result for further treatment options.
3. This may still be normal nasal secretions, headaches and anxiety tremors. You are unlikely to have a degenerative neurological disorder at this age. However, I would recommend that you rule out the CSF leak first.
I hope that I have answered your query. If you have any more questions I will be available to answer them.
Regards.
