Suggest Treatment For Scalp Folliculitis

Question: Hi doctor.
as you know ive been having scalp folliculties past a year which has now spread to face/nasal.
I've done the culture test and the results are here.
The dermatolgist who i consulted have asked me to take linezolid for 5 days along with mupricoin to be applied in nasal, fingers and anal areas.
My concern is i'm not sure if mupricroin is also resessitant. Is there a test where we can check it?
Since I used bactrium ds in the past and now the results show its become resistant, im concerned.
What should be the going forward treatment protocol?

Brief Answer:
Treatment of recurrent Staph
Detailed Answer:
Hi. Welcome again.
You must go as per the culture and sensitivity report i.e Linezolid.
Mupirocin resistance may occur in those with repeated Or extended use of it, but presently it is not that common and also no other better topical alternatives exist with regard to MRSA (Methicillin resistant Staph Aureus), therefore you must use mupirocin as advised.
