Management of scalp psoriasis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
I am Dr Asmeet Kaur Sawhney, a dermatologist.
For psoriasis propysalic NF6 ointment is fine but usually lotion is preferred for hairy areas like the scalp.
I usually recommend my patients to use a clobetasol propionate and salicylic acid lotion on the affected areas of the scalp twice daily along with a shampoo containing salicylic acid and coal tar twice weekly.
Besides this I also recommend them to take antihistaminic like tablet levocetrizine 5 mg once daily at bedtime if it is associated with itching.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.

Dr Asmeet
