Suggest Treatment For Scars On The Face After Recovering From Chicken Pox
Question: I have chicken pox scars in my face,how can i remove them.i had suffered chicken pox one month ago

I can understand your worry about scars on face after healing of varicella. Varicella is a viral infection also called chicken pox.
The scars after healing of varicella might be mild hyperpigmented depressed scars. As the period after curing the lesions is not more than one month,you should wait for few weeks before you start treatment of scars. Generally the scars and spots recover without any treatment. There is no need to worry at all. Just wait and do not apply any thing. Avoid exposure to sun.
If the scars remain as they are after few months,you. May consult the dermatologist and have proper treatment.
I would suggest...
- tab. vitamin C 1000 mg daily
- cap vitamin E 400 mg daily
- hyaluronic acid containing gel .. apply twice a day on the scars
- cleanse the face with glycolic acid containing face wash
After few months treatment you may feel better. If you get poor response, then dermabrasion,skin peeling or laser therapy may be considered.
